Slow and lagging performance
If your computer is responding slowly, it might indicate either a computer network or device issue.
To check your network speed, run a speed test:
- Run a Speed Test here
- If your network speed is less than 8Mbps for download / 1.5Mbps for upload, this might result in an unstable connection
General steps to improve network speeds and connection:
- Move closer to the router
- Plug directly into the router via an Ethernet cable
- Close tabs, downloads, or other applications that may be using bandwidth
To check if it might be a device issue:
- Closing other applications that might be running
- Closing other tabs that you do not need
- Refresh Saga Connect
- Sign out and then sign back in
- Reboot
- Windows: Click the Start > Power > Restart
- Mac: Click the Apple Menu > Restart
- Chromebooks: Click the time > Power > Restart
