Attendance for In-Person Tutorials (Mobile)

Tutors record attendance in tutorials, and admins can view the aggregate attendance on the dashboard.

Taking Attendance

For tutors to take attendance, they must:

Once signed in, a tutor will see the current list of tutorials with the tutorial title, time, and assigned students.

After clicking the blue “Let’s Go!” button, the tutor will receive AI insight to help them remember key tutorial practices. To start the session, the tutor needs to click the gray “Start” button.

Note: Sessions record audio. If a tutor attempts to start a session without allowing microphone access, they will receive a pop-up reminding tutors to do so or continue acknowledging that they will not have any recording data for the session.

In the session, each assigned student will have a section noting their status, their current time in the tutorial, and a switch to toggle their status between Present and Away. When students are Away, their status icon is gray. When students are Present, their status icon is green.

Click the gray “End Session” button below the last student to end the tutorial. A pop-up will appear to confirm the tutorial's ending. Confirming the tutorial’s end will start the Session Sentiment Survey process.
