iPad AV Inputs and device Permissions

Troubleshooting iPad Settings for Camera and Microphone:

  1. Accessing Settings:
    • Open your iPad's settings.
    • Scroll down and click on "Safari" on the left side.

      Adjusting Camera and Microphone Settings:

    • In Safari settings, locate the options for camera and microphone settings.
    • By default, these settings are set to "Always ask."
    • You can change them to "Always allow" to avoid being asked every time and to allow immediate use.

Using Saga Connect:

  • Before joining a session on Saga Connect, you might be prompted for permission to use the camera and microphone.
  • This prompt occurs if the setting is left on the default to ask.
  • Once permissions are granted, the camera and microphone inputs should be detected.
  • If devices are blocked or not found, double-check permissions and device functionality.

Confirmation of Working Devices:

  • The page should provide feedback confirming the devices are operational.
  • You should see the video feed and a green sound wave indicating microphone input.
  • Once devices are confirmed and working, you can join the session with functioning audiovisual capabilities.
