How to remove a student from a session

The Remove Student feature has two options to manage your session:

• Refresh student: support for a student who it attempting to join but can’t (for example, is stuck on the loading screen)
• Ban student: for users who need to be kicked out for inappropriate behavior or other reasons they shouldn't be there

Accessing the Removal Feature:

• In the session interface, locate the menu in the top right corner.
• Click on "Remove Student" from this menu.

Select Action:

• Note: Banning student means they will not be able to rejoin

Selecting the Student:

• After activating the removal feature, identify the student you wish to remove.
• Click on the AV circle associated with the student's video feed.

Outcome of Removal:

• Removing a student will immediately prevent them from participating in the current session.
• However, they will retain the ability to join future sessions as normal.
